The Bently Nevada 16710-08 is a heavy-duty, armored interconnect cable designed for the high-integrity transmission of vibration and proximity signals in demanding industrial environments. Serving as a critical link in the 3300 and 3500 Machinery Protection Systems, this 8-foot cable connects proximity sensors or transmitters to monitor inputs, ensuring that the low-voltage signals from rotating machinery remain free from external interference.

Constructed with a flexible stainless steel armor conduit, the 16710-08 provides superior mechanical protection against physical hazards such as crushing, abrasion, and rodent damage. Inside the armor, the three 22 AWG conductors are protected by a dual-layer shield (aluminum foil and tinned copper braid) to eliminate electromagnetic interference (EMI). This ensures that the -200 mV/µm sensitivity required by API 670 standards is maintained from the probe to the rack, providing the accuracy needed for predictive maintenance on turbines, compressors, and high-speed pumps.
