It is an essential component for hybrid control architectures, enabling seamless data exchange between CompactLogix systems and Profibus-based Masters, such as Siemens S7 PLCs or various Distributed Control Systems (DCS). By offloading complex protocol timing to the module hardware, the MVI69-PDPS (MVI69-PDPS) ensures that the main CPU’s scan time remains unaffected by network traffic.
