The 1769-2WS is a high-precision weighing interface designed for the Allen-Bradley Compact I/O platform. It provides direct connectivity between strain gauge-based load cells and CompactLogix or MicroLogix 1500 controllers. By eliminating the need for external weight transmitters, the 1769-2WS reduces system complexity and improves data throughput via the backplane.

The module supports two independent channels, each capable of excitation and signal conditioning for up to four 350-ohm load cells. This dual-channel architecture allows for synchronized weighing of two separate vessels or the summation of multiple sensors in a single large-scale application. The 1769-2WS is engineered for high-noise industrial environments, featuring robust electrical isolation to maintain signal stability and measurement accuracy.
